Acts 20:35 Non-Profit

About Us

Serving with Compassion. Leading with Gratitude.

Gratitude Society is a registered non-profit organization serving Abbotsford, Mission, and communities throughout the Fraser Valley. We are committed to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, isolation, and other life challenges through compassionate outreach, practical assistance, and meaningful relationships.

We believe that lasting change begins by meeting people where they are—with dignity, respect, and genuine care. Our volunteers and outreach teams walk alongside those we serve, offering encouragement, essential resources, and hope without judgment.

Our Mission

To build a stronger, more compassionate community by providing practical support, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for healing, hope, and personal growth through gratitude-centered service.

Our Vision

A community where every person is valued, supported, and empowered to move toward a healthier, more hopeful future.

What We Believe
At Gratitude Society, we believe:
  • Every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

  • Compassion is demonstrated through action.

  • Relationships create lasting impact.

  • No one should be left behind because of barriers to accessing support.

  • Gratitude has the power to transform lives, strengthen communities, and inspire hope.

How We Serve

Our outreach extends beyond traditional service models by bringing support directly to individuals who may be unable to access existing resources. Through community partnerships and dedicated volunteers, we provide meals, outreach services, pet support, mentorship, spiritual care, and connections to housing, recovery, and other community resources.

Together, we are building a community

where compassion is lived out every day—one conversation, one act of kindness, and one life at a time.
